MEDICA 2009 celebrates successful anniversary
The specialists from hospitals and doctors’ surgeries obviously did not want to miss out on the 40th anniversary of MEDICA. Over the four days of the event this, the world’s largest medical trade fair (from 18 to 21 November 2009), registered almost 138,000 trade visitors from over 100 countries (previous year: 137,000 visitors)
Also for TYTEX GROUP, MEDICA2009 sat new records in terms of number of visitors. The stand was very well visited through the entire event - and both existing as well as a great number of potential customers took the opportunity to pay TYTEX GROUP a visit, with many fruitful meetings as a result. We would like to thank each one of you who came by for your time - hope to see you again next year!

TYTEX announces new Tubular Limbsize Spacer Fabric for extra
breathability and moisture resistance
July 2008
The new
tubular limbsize spacer fabric from TYTEX GROUP is based on a patented onward
development of AirX™ spacer fabric technology. Offering a wide range of
flexible improvement options for products such as orthopaedic supports, braces,
casts and prosthetic liners, the spacer fabric provides enhanced comfort,
breathability and moisture resistance.
The limbsize spacer fabric has been designed
specifically with patient comfort in mind. It is low profile, functional,
lightweight and aesthetically pleasing with improved elasticity, cushioning and
recovery, as well as substantial isotropic properties.
With its small diameter, three-dimensional weft
knit, the new limbsize spacer fabric accommodates and conforms to body parts or
limbs, encircling them seamlessly.
Technically engineered to enhance the
end-product, the limbsize spacer fabric also enables the incorporation of many
different mechanical and thermo-physiological properties, resulting in superior
breathability and moisture-resistance.
This latest extension of the AirX™ range further
strengthens the leading position of TYTEX GROUP in the orthopaedic and
prosthetic textile product markets.

Successful ORHTOPÂDIE + REHA-TECHNIK Fair
July 2008
The fair in Leipzig, which took place 21-24 May, was
visited by a total of 18,100 visitors from 85 countries, i.e. 21% more
visitors compared to the event in 2006. Furthermore the number of
exhibitors was increased by 14% and the exhibition space by 30%. This
makes it the most successful ORTHOPÂDIE + REHA-TECHNIK ever in its
34--year history.
The increase in the number of visitors was also felt at TYTEX' booth.
We took the opportunity to present the latest product novelties: The
AirX™ Tubular Spacer Fabrics and the New SAFEHIP® Soft hip protector
shield based on AirX™ technology. Both novelties caught huge interest
and we have many interesting leads to follow up on. We would like to thank all of you who visited us at the booth. We hope to see you again in Leipzig in 2010.

ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK 2008

International Trade Fair and World Congress for Prosthetics,
Orthotics and Rehabilitation Technology
With a long history of success, the bi-annual ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK event in Leipzig combines top-quality international training with a world-leading trade show. This is where technicians, manufacturers, doctors, therapists and other professionals from all over the world meet to exchange experience and ideas and to learn more about innovative orthopaedic and rehabilitation products from world-leading suppliers.
As a world-leader in its specialist field, TYTEX GROUP will be present at the next ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK from 21 to 24 May, 2008 together with around 400 other suppliers and experts in the field of Prosthetics, Orthotics and Rehabilitation Technology. The event is expected to attract some 15,000 professional visitors as well as end-users and their families on a special Public/Paralympic day.
